50 Cent on KimYe: ‘One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure’
50 Cent has never held his tongue for anyone. The rapper turned successful businessman has been speaking his mind since he first burst onto the scene with the song “Hot to Rob” which took shots at every top rapper in the game. These days, Fiddy lets the tweets do the talking and has had some pretty questionable things to say about damn near everyone in 140 characters or less.
Recently, Fifty sat down with hip hop rag XXL to discuss his music, film projects, and what he really thinks about his one-time rival Kanye West’s boo, Kim Kardashian.
When the interviewer asked what 50 thought of Kanye’s ode to his boo, “Perfect B*tch,” Fiddy cleverly gave the pair a backhanded compliment.
“I mean…if that man feel like she perfect, then she’s perfect,” he explained. “He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye. You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
While his not-so-delicately-worded comment may not have been P.C., he is correct. Just because someone’s last relationship didn’t quite turn out well doesn’t mean that person should be forever off-limits.
If he had said it, I’d say it was a Freudian slip. However, considering the fact that Kanye said his inspiration for the new song “Perfect Bitch” came from Kim, shows how much respect he has for her. So, let the chips fall where they may.
Urrrrrrgh! 50 makes me want to puke bile.
I mean really who the he** is 50 cent in the grand scheme of things? Yes, I have enjoyed his singles w/G-Unit, and this latest one with Dr.Dre & Alicia Keys, BUT how DARE he blast Kim K in that manner. Could it be that he wants a piece of that action? Puh-leez!!, as much as she may crave public attention, she wouldn’t give “fiddy” a first look!
