For those of you who live in NYC, the High Line is a great spot for a casual date. For those of you who don’t know what the High Line is, it is an elevated (i.e above the street) park on the west side of Manhattan from 14th to about 30th street (along parts of 10th, 11th and 12th Avenues) and its right across the street from Chelsea Piers. It’s wonderful. Spend a day at the park (walk, rent a bike, sit and chill) and then head to the Piers for dinner or drinks by the water (or even take one of those boat cruises down the Hudson).
