“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” – Bill Copeland
Almost by accident, inspiring others to reach their goals has become something I’m passionate about. Perhaps it’s because I constantly need the same inspiration and it’s easier to reach your goals if you have others cheering you on. But spreading the gospel about positive thinking, goal setting, and being open to every possibility is quickly becoming one of my main priorities.
After all, it’s gotten me pretty far. Years ago I dreamed of moving to New York City. That idea would have stayed a dream if I hadn’t put some concrete steps in place for me to get there. And last year when I talked about wanting to go to London and Paris, I would still be talking about it if I hadn’t put the money away, bought my ticket, and had the time of my life.
Too often we have these big dreams in our heads but never take the time to try to figure out how we are going to make them happen. Most times we don’t even think they are really possible, we just know we want them to happen.
Without planning and concrete steps, dreams will never turn into reality. No matter what your dream is, figure out possible ways you can actually make it happen. Then, set a goal and work like hell to get yourself to your desired destination.
I know you can do it. Do you?
