My dad has started to have this conversation with me. He beat bladder cancer and was doing well then he fell off of a ladder last Thanksgiving which send him to the hospital for several days. Your dad is a very smart man. My husband works for a group of funeral homes and funeral expenses are SO expensive. I know we don’t think to pre-pay funeral expenses, especially being so young, but it’s really like any other high cost expense. You save up and invest in it long term so you aren’t hit with a huge bill at one time.
