Open Thread: Will Attacks On U.S. Embassies Lead To Another War?
In the wake of Tuesday’s attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Libya and the protests spreading across the Middle East and parts of Africa, many are wondering if the heightened tensions will lead to another military conflict between the Arab world and the West.
Since the U.E. Embassy attack in Libya occurred, the embassies of America and other Western allies, like Germany, have incurred angry protests. Spurred on by an anti-Islamic film, the protests have continued to intensify over the past few days.
In Lebanon a KFC was set alight by angry protesters, and in Sudan, three people were killed amid the demonstrations over “The Innocence of Muslims,” the obscure, low-budget film which sparked outrage across the region.
After the attacks in Libya and subsequent protests in Yemen, the U.S. dispatched an elite group of Marines to each nation to secure the embassies and two navy destroyers have also been sent to the region.
Although the leaders in Middle East have spoken out against the violence, and some have used their nation’s security forces to beat back protesters, President Obama has vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice and issued a stern warning to would-be terrorist that America will not stand for attacks on it’s people.
funny, there was a podcast on a few weeks back about the possibility of an “october surprise” – a provocation in the mid east that could result in armed conflict and impact the u.s. election.

in general, this is why we need to be more energy independent. dang. why don’t us americans get it? i prefer to isolate them by not having to deal with them than run to them for their oil. it is the only reason the folks over there (outside of dubai and tourism in egypt) are relevant. sorry. tired of this ish.

finally, i’d really hate to see black/african muslims follow the arabs over this cliff. that would be frickin tragic.

So where were you when “they” were being killed and had to conform to their religion & culture? Just like western thinking to point out the most logical ‘suit’ to take part in when it becomes convenient for them.
Well, both Muslim and Christian African alike don’t like American and never have. As a matter of fact, the only country that still tolerates the US is it’s strong Ally, the UK. Africa is a continent of over 50 nations that can sort out its own issues yet US finds ways by perpetuating lies and deeming leaders who refuse to join their gang as radicals or dictators I.e. Ghaddafi.
This isn’t even an Islamic issue, it’s a human right issue. As long as the US of A is run by a ruthless Zionists such as the Rothschilds (The Fed Reserve) who are out to conquer the world, there will always be war in the world. After all, America benefits from every single war yet they call it humanitarian mission. Sady, most Americans think that this is against them. No! This is about the government that is so corrupt and trigger happy. We Africans have not been spared of American cruelty. Who did you think was arming Hutu and Tutsi? UN and US that’s who! Who did you think was arming the Sudanese civile war? How do you think all those weapons get in the hands of rebels? Oh yeah and once they use the rebels, they deem them killers and have a campaign out I.e. Koney.
The truth of the matter is this tired American war propaganda is only fooling the people of America. The rest of us are aware of the crimes the Zionists are committing around the world. While they are dumbing the people of America down with controlled media, useless school systems, unnecessary political conflicts, radio friquency identification control (wait until it goes in affect in 2014), Amero (already signed an agreement in 2005 to combine North American Currency), the patriot act which denies you of your amendment right, social media marketing of propaganda, the rest of us fighting to hold on to out morals integrity.
The UN and NATO are working tirelessly to keep this war fire burning. They never have our continents best interest at heart. The US is currently resuming to the Western Imperialism tactic with the AfriCom act. Every nation that has refused has been bombed with drones I.e. Syria and Egypt.
Americans needs to realize that the US doesn’t protect Israel, instead Israel runs the US.
