Web Series To Watch: “Finding My Obama”

by Clutch

Women all over the world view President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s relationship as the paradigm for lasting love. Their example has inspired a new web series called “Finding My Obama.”

Written by TV sitcom writers Antonia March and Jacqueline McKinley, the series follows a young single African-American, played by Nefetari Spencer, who is tired of games and players and in search of “a man of substance.”

What do you think of “Finding My Obama,” Clutchettes?

So you were looking for Jesus, then someone like our Pastor, and now Obama.

How about a show of regular normal emotionally balanced adults looking for eachother instead of a futile quest for the Messiah?

  • Stanley

    It’s really getting crazy.

  • Alexa

I think the first 4 episodes are good, the lead actress is funny and the plot is entertaining.

Yea Nef! Cant go wrong with Robin Thede.

  • Michele

    The trainer…the professional homeless dude…HILARIOUS!!!

He was also an Ivy League/ Harvard Law grad, i.e. Not Pookie. I’d say that’s more than the slightest glimmer of potential

  • Cari Dee

Watching 1st ep – she’s complaining about dude…yet she slept with him before her ‘assessment’. Good luck on her quest, I guess -__-

Which makes me wonder…would Obama want to be found be her?

  • Ms. I-Jay

    LOL @ Not Pookie!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! People kill me when they try to use the “potential card” in reference to Michelle and President Obama. The guy was on the road to success REGARDLESS by looking at his credentials, people are acting like Michelle met him while working at Burger King (not saying there is something wrong with working at BK to help jump start you) or selling CDs on Canal Street…that is a terrible example. But lol at the title, but interesting series nonetheless.

Just watched it. I love it, this series is hilarious. It’s clever in that while it is clearly joking at the Nobama men she meets, she is a bit delusional and unbalanced herself, just like them! The friends are funny also

  • Kacey

I couldn’t have said it better!

  • Rosey

I think the series is hilarious although I initially found the concept annoying. The main character is supposed to come off as a tad delusional. I’ll definitely support.

  • hmmmmm

    Brilliant response. Brilliant.
