Currently I’m the proud owner of over 200 pairs of shoes. Although I’ve probably never worn most of them more than a handful of times, shoes are my weakness. From 5 inch heels, to my current obsession with heelless shoes, a great pair of shoes can put a smile on my face.
I’ve never been a fan of celebrity styled shoes, until Jessica Simpson’s shoeline came along. When I want an affordable, but stylish pair, I can always count on her brand. Following in the footsteps of other celebrity designed shoes, Halle Berry has teamed up with German shoe company Deichmann and debuted her new line of shoes this month.
“I think every woman would like to be involved in creating a shoe collection,” says Halle, “My 5th Avenue shoes can easily be worn by every woman. Women have always loved shoes. It’s like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right. If both of them are right, you’re pretty much OK”.
In addition to the Spring and Summer 2013 line, Halle is also launching a Fall and Winter line.
The shoes seems to exude a laid back
granny style, with a focus on comfort. The line includes several different styles of ballerina flats, suede pumps, and various wedge styles.
The 40 pair of limited edition shoes are only available on Deichmann’s website and range from about 17 Euro ($22 USD) to 49 Euro ($58 USD).
