Tuesday night (TONIGHT) Clutch’s Editor-At-Large Danielle C. Belton aka The Black Snob will be on PBS NewsHour talking about Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s recent appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes. Sandberg, in an interview, said she thought women often get in their own way of success. But while she made some good points, others were much more controversial. Thanks, Danielle, for bringing the conversation back down to earth. As you noted, not every woman is a CEO or even aspires to be one so, this book isn’t necessarily relevant to a huge part of the population. I think the media made this book in to a best-seller with hype. I don’t think the book is really groundbreaking.
