    yes and yes!

  • Lynne

Forgive me for saying this, but can anyone imagine how awesome this would’ve been with a 1997 version of Maxwell? Oh, that hair….

I know I shouldn’t live in the past, but a girl can remember fondly. Can’t she?

  • Ann G

    yassss love it!

  • Mademoiselle

Maxwell has yet to do me wrong!

  • Marketing Gimmicks

“Noooo….noooo….nooooo….nooooo……noooooo!!!” What a sexy as hell riff……you better sang Alicia….

As for Maxwell…his voice makes my ovaries burst….damn he fione!!!!!

  • Kay

Yes! I really like that Alicia Keys has seemed to have gone back to her old method of singing. She sounds relaxed and in her element and not straining and screaming like she did on “Girl on Fire,” or some of her other songs. And Maxwell….well, I have nothing more to say about that mountain of hunky manliness than to say he’s flawless as usual. :-)

  • JN

This is the music Alicia Keys should have been making this whole time. I think that although radio R&B (would this classify more as soul? neo-soul?) is struggling, there are signs that artists are trying to return.

Yes to all of this…the back drop, A. Keys and Maxwell and the song! This is grown and sexy, I don’t care what people say Alicia usually puts out great music with one or two misses personally.

Oh good gawd! Not an Alicia Keys fan since her early day, but this…this is just wow! And vintage Maxwell, it was over for me when he started singing. On my way to Amazon to download and drop into my babymaker playlist.

  • Anthony

It’s download worthy. I’ve been a Maxwell fan since 1995, Alicia Keys is looking mighty tasty. I believe having a baby has given her a pair of truly womanly hips! She is also sounding sexy too.

  • Missy

I wish Maxwell had sang the song alone or with someone who can sing. Keys sounds awful. Max is the only saving grace on it. She is a far better song writer than singer.

  • Hehe

    My God Maxwell is hot!!!

  • lol

This is nothing but an A++ for the video. I love the classic look (clothes) and the entire set up. For me, Alicia is bringing the Fire. Now in regard to Maxwell—hmm…not as much! I know that’s a thumbs’ down, but Maxwell has always lacked something. He doesn’t do it for me. ~P

  • P

I don’t know who needs to replace Maxwell. lol. I am really sitting here thinking about thatt.

  • The Other Jess

Love this video, and the vintage “New Awwwlins” setting!

But maybe i’m crazy, but Maxwell looks kind of like a skinny Tyler Perry to me in this video – LOL, oh well.

But they both sound great to me.

  • RJ

@JN – I agree. This is real black music made by black people. We really need to get back to the roots and tell the pretenders to have a seat.

As Marvin and Tammi sang years ago “Ain’t Nothin’ Like the Real Thing”

This is soul – R&B has a rougher edge.

  • RJ

@Sealine – LOL. Have fun utliizing the playlist!

  • Chelley5483

“his voice makes my ovaries burst”

!!!!!!!! (just passed the hell out) !!!!!!!! LMAO!!
