    I LOVE BIG HAIR even though I wear mine close to the head, cut-with-clippers style…my hair grows fast, so I go back and forth with both looks…

    how long does it take to grow that much hair? **asked the bald man**

  • Mademoiselle

    Depends on maintenance, internal health, biology, and climate/environment.

    how long does it take to grow that much hair?

  • MommieDearest

    LOL @ james!!!

    FWIW, When I blow my hair out, it’s big, but not quite as big as hers (shy of hers by a few inches). It took me about 3-4 years to grow my hair big from a 1/2 inch twa.

    I think her hair looks FABULOUS!!! So soft and fluffly and healthy.

  • DownSouth Transplant

    JFP, takes me 3-4 years of braiding on and off, with regular maintenance included, takes my baby 8-10 months of doing nothing other than not chopping it off, as Madame said various factors contribute.

    thank you. does nutrition play a part?

  • MommieDearest

    @james,

    YES! A healthy diet and drinking plenty of water does make a difference in hair growth and health. At least that’s the case for ME. Some people just have it like that and thier hair grows like weeds no matter what they do.

    now, big hair is nice on any woman, but there comes a point where even chocolate cake becomes impractical;

    who is going to employ her?

    she’s a walking health hazard in that she simply cannot see where she is going around a corner or bend, or even to cross a street safely;

    and she has absolutely no business behind the wheel of ANY vehicle, not even a push mower;

    besides her peripheral vision limited to that of a racehorse, at least 2-3 hours out of every day must be devoted to it, and can you imagine what some bird must be thinking flying overhead?

    really, somebody’s cat or small child could be lost in there–or both;

  • ArabellaMichaela

    Biotin, vitamin E, calcium supplements and a multivitamin, all aid hair growth, in addition to a generally healthy diet. However, the captioned model has very thick hair. Hair as thick as hers comes from having a dense follical mass. If you don’t have a follicle mass like that (which is a genetic trait) all the good hair care in the world will not give you a mane like hers.

  • The Artist

    This is fab!

  • Mademoiselle

    How can you tell how thick her follicles are from this distance? I have thin hair, but when I grew it out and stretched it, it looked just like hers.
