Quvenzhané WallisAfter being one of the youngest contenders for the “Best Actress” Academy Award in 2013, our little honeybee is not slowing down on building her acting career.

Quvenzhané Wallis has joined the voice cast of Khalil Gibran’s The Prophet, an animated feature film written and directed by Roger Allers. The Prophet is a best-selling book that has sold more than 100 million copies since its publication in 1923. Wallis will work alongside big talents Salma Hayek and Liam Neeson. It is anticipated that the film will be completed by spring 2014.

Wallis is also slated to star in a re-make of the classic movie musical Annie, which will be produced by Will Smith and Jay-Z.

    I read somewhere she said her name was Swahili, nope! There’s no Q is the Swahili alphabet and they don’t use accented letters. Her mom gave her a ghetto name. At least she’s a movie star cause she ain’t getting a job with that name.
