RiRi Summer Beauty_300

After the enormous success of Rihanna’s first lipsick for MAC Cosmestics, “RiRi Woo,” it’s no surprise that MAC Cosmetics is already churning out a new collection. The second installment in Rihanna’s collaboration with the makeup brand, “RiRi Hearts MAC” Summer” was announced this week.

The new collection will be comprised of “a bronze and cool coral Powder Blush Duo in Hibiscus Kiss, retro Matte Lipsticks in RiRi Boy, Heaux and RiRi Woo and rose gold Lustre Drops,” according to The Glamazons. It launches on June 18th exclusively online at MAC Cosmetics at 12 NOON EST.

Leave it to Rihanna to get a major beauty brand to name a lipstick “Heaux.” What do you think of her latest offering? Will you shop the new collection?

    Can’t wait! Buying EVERYTHING Tuesday!

  • Hmm

Eww.. Heaux? Not a fan but even if I was I would not be proud to support this chick’s business ventures by wear HOEEE on my lips.

No. Because if you look hard enough, you’ll realize that these colors are nothing new from MAC. Because there are people who will buy ANYTHING, (like the folks that got duped into thinking that Riri Woo was different that Ruby Woo) there will always be those that will happily buy the newest shade out. No no no, not today. Or the 18th.

I don’t understand ( or can afford) celebrity hashtag consumerism, but I like the color on her.

People will break their necks to buy these products just because Rihanna’s name is attached to them but as a previous poster noted, these products already exist in the Mac Collection…

Riri Woo is different from Ruby Woo. Its a bluer shade. I have Ruby Woo and my friend has Riri Woo. I tried on both colors, the difference isn’t anything a guy would notice but there is a difference. I’m super into makeup and I like Riri. I already have about 6 different shades of red from MAC and it makes a HUGE difference if the lipstick is glossy vs. semi-matte vs. matte. Just because you aren’t that into makeup don’t make general blanketed statements that its “all the same” because its not.

“Just because you aren’t into makeup don’t make blanketed statements…”

My dear, I’ve been buying MAC for 16 years, since I was 14. I have enough MAC to start my own makeup counter, so believe me when I say I know makeup, especially MAC makeup. Now, I was about to respectfully agree until your comment “just because…” So like a bowl of soup, I ask that you simmer down.

The only one getting heated over anything is you. You apparently felt someway about my comment. For someone who has “enough MAC to start my own makeup counter” you sure don’t seem to be very informed about the different shades. There are people who would only like one shade of a color and that would be enough for them, that’s cool. But every makeup brand not just MAC has a lot of variety in their lipstick shades, especially for red. So to say that people are being dooped into buying the same shade is inaccurate. That’s all. No need to get all bent out of shape.

I’m buying it just so I can sell it for double the price on Ebay! *Shrugs* I get MY hustle ON! I don’t think the shade will look good on my skin tone anyway. Rihanna claims the bluer shade works from light to dark skin. I guess we’ll see. I was surprised when I got to order it. It took a while for the cart to load on Mac today. Either way when other celebs endorse stuff folks get excited. Kinda surprised b/c despite her blatant drug use she’s still getting endorsement deals.
