1-juicyjmileyThink you can twerk better than the next chick? Have your YouTube watching of the Twerk Team paid off? Well, you might be able to cash out on the latest dance craze.

Juicy J announced on Twitter Wednesday that he plans to give a $50,000 scholarship to a young woman who can impress him with his dance moves. “Im giving out a 50k scholarship to the best chick that can twerk,” Juicy J wrote.

We’re not sure how tangible the offer is since the rapper deleted the tweet after his story began trending on Twitter Thursday.

But a bigger question that some may be wondering is whether or not offering a scholarship for “twerking”, a dance craze that has been criticized by some as misogynist, is counterproductive or a step in the right direction? What do you think, Clutchettes?

O_0 No. Just…no. It’s sending out all the wrong messages to young women who are looking to gain more opportunities. So instead of relying on your intellect (an essay, a video, some artwork) a young woman has to be able to gratify some random male’s gaze??! It’s a step in the wrong direction for women, most notably backwards.

So he’s giving a young lady money to go to school based on an “ability” that she can’t use to write papers, get good grades, or graduate. How ironic. Because you know, writing an essay just wouldnt be a good idea. Juicy J please sit down somewhere.
