Beyoncé has painted her pinkie finger a marvelous, sparkly pink shade in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which started on October 1.

The superstar singer and mom posted a pic to Instagram of her sporting the nail lacquer, which was created by designer Matthew Williamson and model and actress Poppy Delevinge in partnership with Nails Inc., Hollywoodlife.com reports.

The shade, Pinkie Pink, is available fromSephora.com for $9.50. One dollar from the sale of each bottle will be donated towards the fight against breast cancer as part of the Nails Inc. Paint Your Pinkie Pink campaign.

Promoting this cause, Beyoncé posted on Instagram along with her “pinky pink” photo: “Breast Cancer Awareness month starts today [sic] paint your pinky pink!”

Beyoncé is hardly the only person to get involved. The Nails Inc. web site displays a photo stream of women who have followed suit by painting their pinkies with the shade in support of breast cancer awareness.

      While I do use nail polish occasionally, I hear you. The information on the cosmetics database.com website made me give up a few products I used for years, including items marketed as natural and organic.
