Celebs say the darndest things.

Rihanna, who made headlines for behind-the-scenes teases of her stripper-themed video “Pour It Up,” this week, covers the November 2013 issue of Glamour Magazine.

Alongside the beautiful shoot, Glamour ran an interview with the Bajan pop star, in which she revealed that her maternal instinct is kicking in.

What’s not on her radar? A man to marry, or even coparent with.

She said: “One day I will have kids. I look forward to the day when I’m gonna be a mom. But I’m nowhere close. I don’t even have a potential baby daddy!”

Whether her comment was made in jest or not, we can all agree she should strive a little higher. Perhaps a relationship with some kind of commitment might appeal to her.

She also spoke about the public’s perception of her as a partier and her dating life in the full interview. Excerpts below:

On the public’s perception of her:

“It doesn’t piss me off because they don’t know me so well, so its easy for them to draw conclusions and it’s their right to. How can they know anything different?…And it’s not always partying, as a matter of fact, recently I’ve become like a square. I hate partying. I’ve been so bored with it. Maybe it’s because its the same music every night. I don’t know, y’all feel me? I don’t know maybe we need some more DJ’s or something.”

On her sex life:

“I am such a bootleg rockstar. I do nothing. I’m embarrassed to say that actually. That’s so disgusting. Its pathetic. I’m a bit of a square. Don’t feel bad for me, I’m good.”

On being able to produce 7 albums in 7 years:

“You work hard and you play hard. I’ve definitely been working a lot in the last 8 years, its been a lot of hard work, but I love it. I love doing what I do. I have a lot to celebrate, so you will catch me celebrating every once in a while because I work hard. I love what I do and I put my focus into that. That’s my priority.”

Could the pop star be maturing? We hope she passes through her party phase before finding that “baby daddy” and starting a family. What do you think of her comments, Clutchettes?

She gave the exact same answers (with same questions) in a UK interview with Chatty Man, Alan Carr. Um…she may be maturing somewhat, but this is definitely all the way manufactured.
