In today’s WTF news, Conservative radio host, and self-described hater of feminism, Sandy Rios, took a little time to explain why there seems to be an uptick in racism in America.
According to Rios, “bitter Blacks” are to blame for the rise in Anglo-Saxon racism because our White brethren “moved passed racism…quite a long time ago.”
“I think the racist garbage coming from the — uh, a lot of blacks right now who are just filled with bitterness and rage is just amazing to me,” Rios said. “It is racism, I am seeing it constantly here in D.C., you know, I think — and it’s causing white citizens to become more racist than they ever were.”
Rios, who also proclaimed last week that White people are no longer racist, blamed President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder for “[stirring] the pot enough to create anger and hatred and bitterness.”
Her reasoning? White people CANNOT be racist because they elected Pres. Obama in the first place. Duh.
“I mean, they did elect Barack Obama twice, so I think it’s not nearly the issue in the white community that it was in the 50s, sure it isn’t, or the 60s – it just isn’t. But it seems to be raging, racism seems to be absolutely raging in the Black community.”
Yes, Sandy Rios, you’re right.
I suppose we can blame President Obama for forcing Glen Beck to kirk out and assert the President has a “deep-seated hatred for White people.” I guess the President posed as a witch doctor with a bone through his nose, and with a family of monkeys, and as a pimp because he thought it would look cool. And by the way, I’m sure he LOVED that picture of his beautiful wife reimagined as an ape.
Sandy, maybe you’re right. Perhaps it actually was Obama’s fault Ted Nugent called him a “subhuman mongrel,” and Sarah Palin continues to equate anything and everything he does to slavery.
I have to hand it to you, Sandy, Black people ARE to blame for White racists’ racism. But not for the reasons you’ve listed. We’re not racist, we don’t hate White people, and despite popular opinion, we don’t walk around with a deck full of race cards.
Sandy, Black people are to blame for White racists’ racism because we continue to exist.
And guess what?
We’re not “going back to Africa;” the days of cowering when Ms. Sally or Mr. Charlie comes around have long since passed; and we won’t change ourselves into something we are not to make you—our weary Anglo Saxon brethren—more comfortable.
We are not going to stop excelling in politics, or in boardrooms, or in classrooms, or on the court because you can’t keep up. Sorry, girl.
But most of all, we are not going to stop being Black, and proud, for you.
So dear Sandy, I am so, so sorry you are uncomfortable with our unbowed and unbossed presence in America, but you and your fellow racists are just going to have to deal.
