Keke Palmer is taking her talents to BET to host a new talk show tentatively titled The Keke Palmer Project.
The show, which is aimed at millennials, will reportedly focus on fashion, pop culture, social issues, and will feature celebrity interviews and “on the street” segments. The Keke Palmer Project will be produced by Judge Greg Mathis’ company, Mathis Productions, and Telepictures. It will join BET’s other syndicated talkies The Wendy Williams Show and The Queen Latifah Show.
Palmer was first introduced to audiences in the 2006 film Akeleeh and the Bee. Since then she’s starred in her own show, Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP, and is currently appearing on Showtime’s drama Masters of Sex.
At just 20, Palmer will be the youngest talk show host in TV history when The Keke Palmer Project hits the network for a four-week test run this July.
