During last night’s Billboard Music Awards, a hologram image of Michael Jackson performed. Jackson’s hologram was projected on a golden throne surrounded by back-up dancers. Along with his signature moonwalk, there were pyrotechnics as the hologram performed Jackson’s new single “Slave To The Rhythm”.

And it was creepy as hell.

I’m sorry, but I’m not down with the hologramming of dead people. But I suppose the Jackson estate and family members will do anything to keep his memory alive. Or for a buck? Who knows.

What’s next, a Whitney Houston hologram singing the Star Spangled Banner? Or better yet, how about we just bring back a bunch of dead singers and recreate “We Are The World”?

You see how ridiculous the thought of it all sounds?

Clutchettes, did you watch the hologram performance? What did you think of it?

Let him rest in peace! This is such a mockery of MJ’s craft. He was a perfectionist when it came to performing. No one can replicate his moves or his rhythm…especially not a hologram!
