Mo Asumang is the daughter of a black Ghanaian father and a white German mother and in her documentary “The Aryans”, Asumang confronts the KKK and Neo-Nazis. Asumang is a well-known TV personality in Germany and she became the target of racist extreme right-wingers and neo-Nazis, who based their attacks on Asumang’s “non-Aryan” background.

“These people don’t actually talk to Jews,” says Asumang in the video. “They don’t talk to black people. They don’t know their enemy, so-called enemy. So what they do, when they talk to me, they talk to reality, and that’s the first thing they have to survive.”

In the video, both groups seem to be caught off guard by Asumang. And some even try their hardest to put on a ‘friendly’ face.

“I think it totally confuses them because I’m not like they want me to be, ” she says. “So I stand there, maybe I smile at them, and because it’s a human reaction, you wanna smile back. So I see them trying to hold down the smile, and that’s something very very interesting.”

Watch the video below to get a glimpse into Asumang’s ¬†documentary.

I think it also helps that she is a woman. I’m sure some of those cowards actually dated interracially in the past.
