After much anticipation, Lancome released its first ad featuring Lupita Nyong’o, who was announced as the spokesbeauty for the brand in April. The ad finds the stunning Vogue Magazine cover star showing off her flawless complexion and nude lips in a black halter gown.
It features Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H in a pale and deep shade, and includes the line “available in 29 shades for all skintones.” By appointing Lupita as the new face and announcing its diverse range of shades, Lancome is clearly going after consumers of color.
