In 2012, author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie gave a Tedx Talk called We Should All Be Feminists.  Adichie’s talk is considered one of the most riveting TedX speeches of our its time.  Not only did Adichie speak of feminism, but also how she went from assuming feminism – and being a feminist – was not a good thing, but to embracing it.

Adichie’s speech is now available for readers on Amazon, in the form of an e-book. As someone who looks for inspiration on a daily basis, this short e-book will definitely come in handy, when I can’t head to YouTube to view her speech.

But if you haven’t had a chance to see it in its entirety, check out the video below:

The video is very interesting. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is very humble and she has the right to express strongly her own voice. She refuted the lies and stereotypes many people have about feminists (especially black feminists or black womanists). A womanist is a name that many Sisters call themselves now. She gave a very strong speech.
