Celebrities and social media will probably never mix well. Now, Snoop Dogg and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea are beefing. Although it seems like Snoop is the one doing most of the heavy lifting.

It all started when a picture of Azalea without makeup surfaced on the web. On his Instagram page, Snoop put up a rather unflattering picture of what appears to be an Albino person with the caption: ‘Iggy Azalea No Makeup.’

Azalea took to Twitter to express her disapproval. She accused him of being two-faced because he has always seemed so nice to her in person. These tweets have since been deleted.

She must have missed the classes on ‘playing the dozens’ or ‘joanin’ when she was learning how to impersonate Black people. Of course after this first exchange, all eyes were on these two and the media determined that a beef  had been born. Both Snoop and Azalea seemed amused or maybe Snoop was offended that people would actually treat Azalea like a genuine rapper that one can beef with. Either way, Snoop came harder with multiple Instagram photos where he taunted Azalea and called her a bitch and continued to mock her. Yes, you read that right. Azalea took to Twitter again.

Then Azalea’s boyfriend Nick Young jumped in to defend his lady.

And yet, Snoop is on some can’t stop, won’t stop and has posted a video where he warns Azalea and Young that they are f*ckin with the wrong n*gga. Caution it has very strong language.

Well this seems to have gone left really quickly. And there’s no real reason as to why. Is it all a publicity stunt? Is Snoop just bored? Is he going through a mid-life crisis? Is he just as annoyed with Iggy Azalea as Nicki Minaj? These are the questions, the questions. Things will probably get worse before they get better, but I’m sure that it will end with Azalea in tears and crying about unfair treatment, Snoop apologizing and maybe a collaboration song- you know in the name of reconciliation.

So much for Snoop’s commentary. When he makes fun of Iggy Azalea, he does it by posting a picture of an albino BLACK person with pronounced classic African features. He might as well have told Azalea what a pretty little white girl she is!

I’m annoyed that snoop equates an albino person who is obviously of African descent to a white girl with no make up. Where’s his loyalty and respect to his people?

OH God.. this would have been a non-issue if Iggy just ignored it. Those memes are everywhere and people just laugh and move on. But when a address it, then it becomes news.
