Dieting is a never-ending cycle and Subway have no problem reminding you of that. In a new ad, the sandwich chain reminds women to stay slim, at least through October.

In the commercial, which is only 31 seconds long, a woman observes her colleagues chowing down on burgers. She inquire, “You guys are eating burgers?” The other woman responds, “Hey, summer is over.”

It is then, the woman, who chose to consume a Subway sandwich, reminds her friends—more specifically her female counterpart— they have to eat healthy to stay fit so they can sport skin-baring costumes for Halloween.

While many are saying it’s fat shaming, others believe it’s more sexist. One thing is for sure, in the commercial the restaurant chain never states “sexy.” It swaps the word for “hot,” “sassy,” “foxy” and “attractive.”

A Subway spokesperson told TODAY, “We understand that some people may not have picked up on the intended humor in our Halloween commercial. Our objective was certainly not to offend anyone.”

TODAY’s Matt Lauer noted,  “I do think you need to at least look for the humor in it.”
