Iggy, Iggy, Iggy.

Once again the Australian rapper with the blaccent is complaining about how the hip-hop community doesn’t embrace her with open arms. In a recent radio interview, Azalea said that people know she’s good, but they just don’t want to admit it.

“They know, deep down. I think they know. They just don’t want to admit it. That’s what I think. I have a feeling. That’s why they’re mad. Because they do know that I actually am good, and they can’t really accept that. But we could be friends, and this could all be easy. Or we could not, and I could send Bitcoin shit chocolate boxes to your door. But I’m still going to be here.”

Poor, delusional, woman.

Nice try  patting yourself on the back. Not that I would claim to be part of the ‘hip-hop’ community, but here’s just a few reasons why some people just don’t feel you:

1) Your blaccent is wack.
2) Your flow is wack.
3) Your style is wack.
4) Your whole being is wack.
5) Your attitude stinks.

I’m pretty sure I can think of more, but you get my point. In any event, the non-Grammy winner will probably just chalk everything off as people being haters, and the fact that she’s white, and because she’s a woman. Never because she’s just a marketing gimmick and people can see right through it. We all have T.I. to blame.

I wouldn’t play the smallest violin for her..

I believe the main reason Iggy doesn’t get the respect she’s seeking, has more to do with lack of talent and a genuine persona, than her ethnicity. In fact, that speaks for most of the popular rappers today (ie; Rick Ross). She is simply a product of clever mass marketing. The fake Southern accent makes her appear more like a caricature than an authentic artist. Her PR personnel dropped the ball on that, no doubt.
