Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell, a member of Brownstone, died Saturday night at the age of 46. Her brother Brandon Maxwell confirmed her death via Twitter.
“R.I.P my beautiful sister Charmayne ‘Maxee’ Maxwell,” he tweeted. “I can’t even believe I’m typing this right now.”
R.I.P my beautiful sister Charmayne "Maxee" Maxwell
Bad things happened to the most innocent people. My sister died in the most terrible way and I'm in so much pain right now.

According to authorities, Maxwell was home with her son when she fell and glass from her wine glass cut into her throat. Her husband, Danish music producer and writer Carsten “Soulshock” Schack, found his wife of over 20 years bleeding profusely on the floor. Maxwell died on the way to the hospital.
Brandon disputed rumors that his sister committed suicide. “People are so dumb,” he tweeted. “This is actually BS.”
From Maxwell’s Facebook page, the last photo posted from last week showed her wearing a large leg and foot brace. People have speculated that had something to do with her fall. Maxwell leaves behind a 10-year-old son.
