If you grew up in the 1980s, RockyBalboa was huge. The scrappy Philadelphia boxer took on all comers and battled his way through several sequels to become one of the most legendary fictional boxers of all time.

Now, Rocky is back, only this time he’s teamed up with his former rival and friend’s son, Adonis.

The perfect name…

As Rocky fans know, Apollo Creed was the smooth, charismatic champ whose drive to tough it out in just one more fight cost him his life.

In Creed, Apollo’s son, Adonis (Michael B. Jordan), is on the run from his father’s legacy, but soon realizes that his penchant for fighting is best used inside the ring.

Creed was co-written and directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) and also stars Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Sylvester Stallone, and Phylicia Rashad.

Jordan put on some serious muscle for the role as Adonis Creed, and from the looks of the trailer, it’s being put to great use.

Creed hits theaters November 25. We can’t wait.

“I’m just tired of all these black males in Hollyweird not dating sistas”

Yup, not only hollyweird but the NFL etc.
He doesn’t do it for me anyway though.

    • He’s a cutie but I agree with you because its Black women who support these men. Taye Diggs blamed Black women for his show getting cancelled but what about the ww he loves so much they wernt to blame for his show tanking?

I was literally about to type “Mmmmm,” but then I read this.
So he’s not for us? I didn’t know that.

I might see this because I love Rocky movies.
