Halloween is tomorrow and if you plan on doing anything besides staying in and watching your favorite thriller movies, you’ve probably been thinking up costume ideas. Or maybe you’re just excited to wear black lipstick without being judged too much. Here are five top-notch makeup transformations to inspire you this year.

The Evil Jester

Smartista Beauty used Wet & Wild’s black eyeliner pencil (99 cents, Drugstores Nationwide) and a Mehron Paradise Makeup Palette ($34, Amazon.com) to create this gorgeous evil jester look.

The Snapchat Filter

Snapchat’s unconventional and unexpected update a few weeks back literally had everybody drooling rainbows. Using an inexpensive palette of bright colors, stacked lashes and the highly rated LA Girl Pro Concealer in Fawn ($2.99, Beauty Supply Stores), Vivian Okezie worked some serious magic.

The Glam Vampire

Destiny Lashae Makeup’s tutorial is the perfect blend of glam and gore. Using a mix of both high end and drugstore products including MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark ($32, MAC stores) and Ben Nye Topaz Powder ($6, Makeupmania.com), this look is perfection even before the contacts, fangs and artificial blood. You can also check out MsRoshPosh’s Queen Vampire tutorial from last year.

The Old Creepy Doll

Cathy Berry’s creepy cracked dollface transformation is not only amazing but relatively easy to replicate. Using a light colored foundation, baby powder and MAC Fluidline gel eyeliner ($16.50, MAC stores), this look is great for a last minute scare.

All The Way Horrifying

It’s a damn miracle we made it through PUREICANDI’s terrifying transformation. She chose a smooth R&B instrumental for the soundtrack but then hit us with – well, you’ll see. Liquid latex, tissue, face paint and Sugarpill’s Cold Chemistry Palette ($34, Sugarpillshop.com) were used to complete this dramatic look.
