Finding your family can be tough when you’re adopted, but for one New York man who was abandoned as a baby, it can feel almost impossible.

Jordan Christopher’s adopted mother alway told him he was left in church, but when he got a copy of the police report of the incident to aid in his search for his biological family, he finally learned the harsh truth.

Born in 1971 in New York, Christopher was found by New York Housing Police in a tenement in the Bronx. Police estimate he was about five-months-old when they spotted him alone in a seventh-floor hallway and couldn’t locate his family.

Christopher, who has been posting info on Facebook, read the painful details of the incident, tearing up along the way, in the hopes that it will help him locate someone in biological family.

While the video is difficult to watch, Christopher’s courage and willingness to push through the pain to get grabs our attention, and hearts.

Take a look at the emotional video, and pass it on to help Jordan Christopher find his family.

He is a brave man. I hope that he is successful in his search for his biological family. This story is very emotional, because he was abandoned as a very young child (until he was adopted by another family). I want him to continue on his life and keep on going forward.

Agreed. I can’t imagine what the brother has gone through. The Bronx was a dangerous place in 71′, especially for an abandoned child left alone.

You’re right. The Bronx back then was dangerous. It is certainly sad that he going through this. Hopefully, he can find his biological family.

      Goodnight Brother.
