If you needed another reason to continue clutching your phone to your chest, look no further. Mastercard’s new anti-identity theft initiative will soon allow you to substitute passwords with selfies.

New York Magazine reports that “the new biometric technology requires you to blink while you take your selfie to demonstrate proof of life.’”

It seems unlikely that there will be filter options as those might just interfere with the purpose of these highly classified selfies but if you’re not feeling particularly cute one day, you can always use your fingerprint in lieu of a photo.
