We’ve been a fan of Nicholle Kobi’s art for a while now, but her recent drawing of the Obamas at the recent White House State Dinner is absolute perfection.

Kobi, a French-based illustrator, first shared the image on her Instagram page (which is also pretty awesome), and since then it’s racked up thousands of likes and reposts.

It’s no surprise Kobi would create such an amazing rendering of the Obamas, her work is rooted in creating stunning images of Black women in all of our glory.

Kobi’s colorful drawings regularly celebrate Black love, sisterhood, style, and of course, hair.

Her work is amazingly vibrant, and it’s clear she takes her mission to center Black women in her art seriously.
