Little Ladies Organics, launched in November 2015 by 9-year-old twin sisters Kamilah and Nikayla from Maryland is already a huge success. The girls started selling their homemade soaps to friends and family before venturing into official business and now have everything from bath salts to body butter and lip balms available.
Their mother Shauna Larmore, owner of a credit repair company, told the Capital Gazette: “One day I sat them down and I just asked them if there was they were interested in because they could turn it into a business. Nikayla said she had been watching soap making videos on YouTube. Everyone loved the idea. I gave them the financial backing and the rest is history.
The twins are promoting their line at local neighborhood events and speaking to other girls their age about their business.
Congrats are in order for these two young entrepreneurs!
