Proms have gotten a little out of control lately. Between super elaborate prom proposals to ask someone to the big dance, and the money it actually takes for kids to stunt on–and with–their friends, it seems like we’ve come a long way from the days when borrowing your parents’ car and hitting a diner after prom was sufficient.

Recently, a St. Louis teen damn near broke the Internet when she decided to replicate Beyoncé’s 2015 scene-stealing Met Gala gown.

India Ross had a local designer recreate Bey’s Givenchy Haute Couture bejeweled dress for her senior prom.

“Over 2,000 hand-placed crystals was used to create my dress,” she explained to Us Weekly. “I had a local designer, Toi Hall, create it with the assistance of her brother.”

The high school senior, who plans to study fashion business and merchandising at Columbia College in Chicago in the fall, said she felt just like Queen Bey during her magical evening.

“My date and I felt like Beyoncé and Jay-Z,” Ross told BuzzFeed. “It wasn’t prom, it felt like we were at the Grammys, everyone slayed.”

She most certainly did!
