After news broke that Michael B. Jordan would be joining director Ryan Coogler, Chadwick Boseman, and possibly Lupita Nyong’o, in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther filmBlack Twitter celebrated the news with the genius hashtag #BlackPantherSoLit.

While the film, about Marvel’s first Black superhero, T’Challa (the Black Panther), isn’t scheduled to hit theaters until February 2018, folks were so excited about the news they just had to share.

Twitter user @ChadwickNChill started things off, and Black Twitter went all the way in.

The hashtag was so popping, director Ava Duverynay got into the mix to inform Coogler, Black Panther’s director, know what was going on.

As usual, tag was hilarious, but it also gave Hollywood a huge clue that if this film is done correctly (and why wouldn’t it be with the folks involved?) centering a film around a Black hero will pay off huge at the box office.
