Paper towel company Brawny has replaced its iconic Brawny Man with a woman for Women’s History Month. In honor of Women’s History Month in March, the Brawny Man is again giving up his place on the paper towel roll.
For the second year in a row, Brawny is celebrating inspiring women by adding a strong lady to its packaging and highlighting notable women on its #StrengthHasNoGender site. Welcome, Brawny Woman.
One of the women being featured in an ad is Vernice Armour, the first African-American female naval aviator in the Marine Corps and the first African-American female combat pilot in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Armour was also a police officer, professional football player, and back-to-back winner of Camp Pendleton’s Strongest Warrior Competition.
