Rachel Roy has recently released The Pakistan tote which was made for the monsoons that left one-fifth of Pakistan submerged in water in July.

“The [Pakistan] tote was created in September when my 10-year-old daughter Ava had to go to a new school and was extremely nervous and feeling a bit sad. I read her a paragraph on the children of Pakistan and how they could not only not attend school, but had no homes and lost family members—10 million children were affected by the floods—and she looked at me and said ‘What are you doing about it?’ So I had to do something,” says Roy, explaining her inspiration behind her fashionable charitable bag.

Rachel Roy reached out to ask her celebrity friends to support and donate to the cause as well. Roy will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s disaster relief efforts for the victims of the floods for every tote sold. You can check out all of the celebs signatures and purchase the messenger-style bag at rachelroy.com.

Good to see a company giving more than just 10% to a foundation or need.

And for just $20 I’d buy one.
