We hadn’t heard anything from Noel Gourdin since he dropped his single, “The River,” back in the fall of 2007.  But lest we had relegated him to the land of the flash in the pan, the singer is back with new music for the ladies.  In “Beautiful,” Gourdin sings to all ladies who have ever been harassed with cat calls and called anything other than their name.  We’re glad that at least one brother out there was listening to how we felt and are thrilled to hear Gourdin’s melodic pledge to call the women nothing less than “Beautiful.”

It’s a truly sweet song and the lyrics are a gift.  We hope to hear much more from the Boston native- hopefully this time he’ll stick around and give us some more.

Clutchettes, what are your thoughts on Noel Gourdin’s “Beautiful”- love it or leave it alone?

Great song but it would have evn better if he put a real sista in the video. Stop with the light skin sista, biracial with long hair, light eyes. Why can’t we have in movies, videos, TV etc. a brown skin man with a brown skin sista? Black love!!!
