Edward Enninful is one of fashion’s most accomplished figures, as a longtime stylist for Vogue as well as the Fashion Director for i-D Magazine. He is now taking on a new role as W Magazine‘s new Fashion and Style Director, succeeding Alex White.
Enninful was born in Ghana, but raised in London, clearly influencing his style today which is a perfect blend of his African roots yet showcases the edgy fashions of his British hometown. He was the youngest ever-appointed Fashion Director of an international magazine, taking the post at i-D at just 18 years old. He frequently works with famed photographers Craig McDean and Steven Meisel and has been a champion of using black models including Naomi Campbell, Sessilee Lopez, Chanel Iman, Ajak Deng, Jeneil Williams, Rose Cordero, Joan Smalls, Liya Kebede, Jourdan Dunn, Arlenis Sosa and many more.
