This season it is all about retro glamour from oversized floppy hats to long hemlines. Statement earrings are a mainstay and so are the highest of wedges and heels, the better for us all to strut in.

Vogue Italia is giving us all we need for Spring and Summer with its latest all-black fashion spread for the May 2011 issue titled “Jump and Smile”. In it, there are mixed prints and eye-popping hues galore, taking us back to a time when it was all about classic femininity and beauty.

The spread was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth and features models Jasmine Tookas, Ubah Hassan, R’el Dade, Lily Taylor, Lyndsey Scott, Kelly Moreira and more. High-fashion pieces from Prada, Mirco Giovannini, Sergio Rossi, Missoni, Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti and more are shown.

What do you think of Vogue Italia’s “Jump and Smile” spread?

    LOVEEEEEEE THIS!!!!!

  • Great article~! I love how Vogue Italia uses so much diversity. I live in Europe right now and depending where you go black people are more excepted then they would be in states. I haven’t really experienced any racist issues since I’ve lived here and they don’t mind putting a black beauty on a billboard/magazine ad.
