Let’s face it, the job market sucks. With hundreds, even thousands, of candidates applying to every open position, it is more important than ever to have your resume truly stand out from the pack. To get into the game job seekers need to say so long to the days of boring black and white, Times New Roman and size-12 resumes. Enter Vizualize.me.

Vizualize.me is blazing a new trail, changing the way job hopefuls can share their work experience and leaving cookie-cutter resumes in the dust. Vizualize.me allows users to “visualize your resume in one click” by taking the information from your LinkedIn profile and transforming it into a vibrant personal infographic. According to the company’s press release, “In the age of data overload, the text resume is slowly becoming a living anachronism. The average resume is now over 2 pages long with more than 1000 words. Who wants to deal with that?”

The site hasn’t even officially launched yet, but has managed to garner over 16,000 sign-up requests from Vizualize.me’s beta launch site in just two weeks. I love this concept and have already sent in my invite request so I can try it out. Check out this sample resume Vizualize.me came up with for Ashton Kutcher.

So Clutch Fam, will you be trying out Vizualize.me or sticking to your old resume format?

I think this is a great idea. We definitely need a new way to apply for jobs and sprucing up our resumes is a great start. I hope this makes things a lot easier. It would be really cool if you can make them somewhat interactive or embed video onto your profile.

I like! The new visualize me resume is more time consuming to create but says so much more than your average.

Very cool but for now, I’d only really use this if I was working in a creative field or for a company that valued creativity.

    • I totally agree. Sometimes the old way is still the best way.
