The brutal incident that was caught on camera at McDonald’s Greenwich Village store left 2 customers injured and facing charges, along with the cashier who carried out the beat-down.
The violent altercation appears to have been instigated by 2 female customers who ‘cussed out’ the cashier, 31-year old Rayon McIntosh, when he questioned the $50 bill they attempted to make payment with. After a heated exchange, one of the women then slapped the cashier, then both irate women eventually jumped over the counter – one reportedly headed for the register.
Unbeknownst to the aggressive duo, the cashier, who has a history of crime (having spent 10 years in prison after shooting and killing a high school classmate in 2000), ran to the back of the store to get a metal rod that he then used to beat the pair.
Terrified, customers watched as McIntosh mercilessly beat the two women, leaving one with a fractured scull that required surgery and a broken arm, and the other with a deep laceration.
All 3 individuals face charges for the incident that occurred that Thursday morning on October 14th. McIntosh was arrested and charged with two counts of felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon and was held on $40,000 bail. The 2 female customers were charged with menacing, disorderly conduct and trespassing.
