Tyrese has fancied himself an author and relationship expert lately but hasn’t set aside his R&B roots. The singer plans to release a “reloaded” version of his album Open Invitation on Valentine’s Day that it will include unreleased tracks, bonus features, and behind-the-scenes footage. Get it — relationship expert, Valentine’s Day, R&B…it all fits, right? Sure.

To wet our whistle a little, Tyrese has released a trailer for the video “Nothing On You” featuring Chili from TLC. I’m not sure when folks started putting out trailers to videos, or why all of my nineties R&B dreams are finally coming true in the early 21st century, but if it works for Tyrese, why not?

You can thank Kanye West for that…

As a person who was around in the 90’s in my adult years, only a fair amount of the R&B (Specifically 1992-1997) was actually good, listenable and memorable. I don’t know if I want to hear that again.
