Dutch designer Maarten Van Der Horst is collaborating with clothes retailer Topshop for an exclusive capsule collection that has us feeling like we’re in a tropical paradise with floral patterns that are clearly not your dad’s Hawaiian print shirts.
The seven-piece spring/summer collection “embodies the Fashion East designer’s core aesthetic of mixing textured industrial fabrics with graphic prints and bold colors” which he meshes with masculine silhouettes on his models with updated ’80s-style blazers and cycling shorts. The designs are also moderately affordable ranging from prices as low as $60 up to $270.
Maarten Van Der Horst’s collection will hit Top Shop boutiques and the retailer’s website May 4. Check out a couple of the looks on the next few pages.
