“As you begin changing your thinking, start immediately to change your behavior. Begin to act the part of the person you would like to become. Take action on your behavior. Too many people want to feel, then take action. This never works.” -John Maxwell
Think about this: If you were living your ideal life, and everything was right in your world, what would you days look like? How would you feel?
Now ask yourself: “What’s stopping me from feeling that way right now?”
Too often we wait for everything to be absolutely perfect before we begin to enjoy life and simply live, but as we all know, perfection is an illusion. If you are spending all of your time wishing your life was different instead of taking the necessary steps to make it so, then you’re missing out.
Life doesn’t happen to us. We choose how we are going to live, either by actively participating in life or sitting on the sidelines. And while you may not be where you’d like to be just yet, you can act like you’ve already made it.
If you adjust your attitude to match your “ideal” life, not your current situation, you’ll notice that you will begin to actually make strides to reach your goals.
