The Noisettes know how to have a good time. The British rock band is known as one of the rowdiest acts in London, riling up crowds with their never-ending supply of energy, backed by lead singer’s Shingai Shoniwa’s infectious sound.
Comprised of Shoniwa and guitarist Dan Smith, the Noisettes first burst on the scene back in 2005, playing clubs and bars, and garnering praise in the press. Back then Entertainment Weekly lavished the band with positive reviews, describing their sound as “high-drama, heavily syncopated swagger-and-sway rock.”
Although they’ve toured extensively, it’s been three years since the Noisettes released a studio album. But they’re back and gearing up to release their latest effort, Contact.
