Six years ago, CLUTCH was merely a dream. A place we hoped would speak to young, fierce, and fabulous black women better than any other publication could. And today, as we mark our sixth anniversary we inch closer and close to fulfilling that dream.
We’ve grown tremendously over the years, from a publication that put out one issue per week, to dropping fresh, informative, and opinionated daily content. These days we pride ourselves on not only keeping you informed about the issues, but also showcasing some of the freshest and most talented writers in the game. And we’re not done yet.
This week, the CLUTCH team is getting together to work on some fabulous initiatives for the future. As one of the few, major, independently-owned black digital publications we will be brainstorming ways to secure the funding necessary to keep CLUTCH running, while giving you the content you expect and deserve. While we put our thinking caps on (and ask for your assistance with our survey), we’ll also be sharing some of our best articles from the past as we prepare to make CLUTCH’s future even more awesome than it already is.
Thank you for your comments, tweets, emails, Facebook comments, words of encouragement, and your sisterly critiques. While we love this publication with all of our hearts, the truth is, CLUTCH belongs to you.
It is your spirit, your fierceness, your brilliance, and your awesomeness that continues to propel us forward with absolute love to continue producing a publication that makes us all proud.
All our love,
The CLUTCH family
