First Lady Michelle Obama wants to ensure students pursue a college education, and she knows just how to reach them – through social media.
FLOTUS asked college students and grads to post a picture of themselves wearing their college gear on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine using the hashtag #ReachHigher, which is the name of her new campaign. Ivy League grads Tatyana Ali and Aisha Tyler joined in to represent their alma maters.
“Education is the key to success for so many kids. And my goal specifically is to reach out directly to young people and encourage them to take charge of their futures and complete an education beyond high school,” says the First Lady on the campaign’s website.
