This is what it’s come to, eh?
Since YouTube and Facebook made it easy to see what everyone around the world is doing, wedding parties across the globe have been trying to one-up each other for the best, most creative dance moves. Between dancing down the aisles, and father-daughter dance battles, I’ve generally enjoyed watching people celebrate their union in interesting ways. But I think we’ve just reached a tipping point.
Over the weekend I spotted a video of a bridal party getting their groove on to Beyoncé’s hit “Drunk in Love” in a routine that seemed more suitable for a co-ed bachelorette party than a wedding reception where grandma and pop-pop looked on. But hey, maybe I’m just a traditionalist.
