After, what seemed to be years in the making, ABC decided to tease “Scandal” fans with a 10 seconds trailer.

When we last saw Olivia Pope, she was “walking into the light” with Jake Ballard. During the episode’s final moments, Pope, who declines a call from the White House, departs with Ballard. “Are you sure?” Ballard probes. Pope then ignores a call from the First Lady. “Yes,” she replies. The plane takes off and season three comes to a close.

The trailer suggests Pope has fallen off the radar. In bold red font it reads, “Where on Earth is Olivia Pope?” Who is on the other end of the line? I’ll bet my life it’s the President of the United States of America, better known as Fitzgerald “Fitz” Thomas Grant III.

Though the “Where on Earth is Olivia Pope?” campaign has aroused our appetite, let’s hope ABC doesn’t starve us to death and begins to share meatier promos.

Unfortunately, gladiators we still have 22 long days till the premiere of another jaw dropping, heart-rending, tear-jerking, breathtaking season.

Until then, check out the teaser below:

I mean… does it matter where she is? She’s not even the lead of the show anymore.

After Rhimes, to the excitement of her white female viewers, turned the character of Mellie into the heroine of the show, there is no turning back. It was a mess before, but it became a tragedy last season, mired in misogynoir.

    • well actually

i don’t think olivia was ever going to be the heroine. she was cheating with a married man since the beginning of the series. last season, olivia did take somewhat of a backseat possibly due to kerry’s pregnancy. we’ll see this season

i for one think there was too much of her gladiators. huck/finn is weird and i’d be happy if both were killed off. that redhead is annoying and disloyal. i know the black guy is gone and his subplot was average at best.

the best subplots contained her parents. especially papa pope
