embedThe downside to being a product junkie or a girl who just wants to find the right products to include in her everyday beauty regimen with minimal disappointment during the process, is the amount of money spent on things that just don’t work. Every mascara commercial is essentially the same; a plethora of empty promises and some celebrity batting their large, thick, lengthy curled lashes over and over again. The truth is few of those brands are worth writing home about.

Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, however – is the Yonce of all mascaras but you don’t have to take our word for it.

The good folks over at Rank & Style, a customer review site that combines editors picks and overall buzz to determine which beauty products reign supreme. After crunching numbers and keeping their ears pressed to the grapevines of beauty junkies everywhere, They’re Real beat out the competition for the #1 spot on the list of the top 10 best department store brands.

So the case is officially closed people. Don’t waste another dime!

This is hilarious. I was talking to a coworker and had to stop her mid convo to discuss her eyelashes. They just looked so long and feathery but also real.
She said started going in on the “amazing” new mascara she got but would have to text me a pic of it because she couldn’t remember the name.
When she did it was this exact product.

I’ve been lazy about going to Sephora but I will now since you all are endorsing it as well.

I have used They’re Real. In fact, I still have the tube in my possession, but for me, I thought it was just OK. I prefer the L’oreal mascaras, personally. They’re cheaper and give my lashes way more definition. I’m currently alternating between the Manga and Butterfly Intenza mascaras in their line.
