A little Ohio boy is claiming that he lived a past life as a black woman who died in a Chicago hotel fire 20 years ago. Luke Ruehlman, who is 5-years-old, says he was once called Pam, and in his previous life he jumped from a burning building. According to Luke’s mother, Erica, he started talking about the woman when he was 2 years old. As she started getting more information from him, he told her he used to be called Pam.
“He was like, ‘Well I used to be, but I died and went to heaven and I saw God and eventually God pushed me back down. When I woke up I was a baby and you named me Luke,” she told Fox 8.
That’s when she asked him how he died.
“He looked right at me and said, ‘Yea it was fire.’ And at that point he made like a motion with his hand like he was jumping off a building,” Ruehlman told the station.
That’s when she began doing her own research and discovered “Pam”. She learned a Pam did die in a Chicago hotel fire and her full name was Pam Robinson. The Ruehlman family appeared Lifetime’s “Ghost Inside My Child” and luck immediately picked out Pam’s picture.
Luke’s mother contacted Pam’s daughter and met her in person. During the meeting they discovered Pam and Luke both loved the same music. It was soon after that meeting Luke let the memory of Pam disappear.
“It was like he got it out. He was finished and had nothing more to say about it,” Ruehlman told Fox 2 Now.
